INNOVA MAINTENANCE


Innovas require very little maintenance. The only routine maintenance required on an Innova is brushing the lint out of the bobbin hook area and oiling the bobbin hook at every bobbin change. That’s it!

It’s just that simple to maintain an Innova Longarm Quilting machine. On a yearly basis, you can oil the needle bar housing and grease the joints behind the Lighting Stitch screen (shown below in the diagram).

On an as needed basis, the encoder wheels can be cleaned with an alcohol prep pad and the high-density super glide wheels can be cleaned to remove any random pieces of thread that may have gotten wrapped around the wheel. Doing these basic things will keep your Innova quilting like a dream!!

A very small amount of preventative maintenance will ensure that your Innova quilting machine runs for many years --- trouble free.
Here is a diagram of the front of the machine, showing points that you will want to check every six months to a year, just to make sure that the lubrication is effective:
