MACHINE SENSITIVITY
The sensitivity on Innova machines can be adjusted from 1 to 10 in the setup settings of the machine. The higher number the sensitivity is set to the more “responsive” the machine will be to speed changes. Michael from ABM has said that a sensitivity setting of 9 or above is really ineffective and will not change the performance of the machine much. ABM recommends the lowest setting possible for everyday quilting, however if small intricate work such as pebbling, or micro stippling work is to be done ABM recommends a higher sensitivity level be used. For long sweeping motions or faster speed quilting by the customer a lower sensitivity should be used to smooth out the quilting process and make the stitches more consistent for better looking quality.
